*snort* I just had to go with that title. It was calling to me.
So I'm nine days in. I've hit the point where I'm starting to notice small changes!!! Very encouraging and motivating!
I got back on track with the VLCD yesterday. The morning weigh-in revealed a surprising .6 pound loss!!! I was fully expecting to see a bit of a gain. So it was quite encouraging to have had an "off" day where I didn't stick 100% to the VLCD and then see that loss.
Today I had a confusing weigh-in. My first step onto the scale showed 144.6. I did it again because I couldn't believe it. 144.6 again. As I was waiting on the shower to warm up I stepped on again just because I wanted to see the number again. It came up at 145.8. ???? No change in how I was weighing (in my birthday suit ;) ) but just about a minute between the last time I stepped on. So I'm not sure which to go with. Part of me says, "Take the very first number it showed." But another part is going with the higher weight and will wait and see what tomorrow's weight is. If it's in the 144's, I'll keep the 145.8 from today. If it's in the 143's, I'll use the 144.6. Either way....it's a loss. :)
I'm starting to notice small changes. I have a denim skirt that is becoming loose on me. As I was walking up to the grocery store this morning I noticed my thighs weren't rubbing together!! (Just keepin' it real ;) )
This week I'm being more creative with my meals. For the first week I stuck to the food list so I was making simple meals and learning about the calories in each item. Now that I know the portions and calorie amounts I'm trying out some recipes. Today for lunch I had the Apple Chicken Salad (click on "recipes" in the last sentence...scroll down). YUMMY!
Starting Weight: 151.0
Weight After Loading: 152.8
Day 9 Weight: 145.8 (**After weighing on Day 10, I'm going with this weight**)
