Our buyers had a glitch in their financing. There was a stipulation in the loan program that they didn't follow. So now they are in the process of securing a different loan. It's something that could have been taken care of within 48hrs (from Tuesday) and we could have closed today, but it's taking longer. We heard this afternoon that it was in underwriting, so if that is true, that's some progress.
We are only able to extend the closing date on our new home until next Friday. Which is also when our buyers need to be out of their current home.
I am not happy. It is very stressful. I am trying to trust that everything will fall into place.
