Most of you probably know that a few months ago we lost a good chunk of our monthly income due to Kev being let go from his church sound job. We really feel like it was a God-thing that he was relieved of that position and knew it would be a hit to the budget. Thankfully we have a small cushion of tax refund/rebate money to fall into. And fall into it we are currently doing.

Things need to change and get better. Like everyone, we need to have income coming in to cover our monthly needs. But even more than that, we need to have income coming in that far exceeds our own needs so we can use it to be a blessing to others.

For the last couple of weeks I've been feeling like I needed to get more serious about praying for the whole situation and to really be determined to rely on faith and trust. So I have been. I mean, I pray for my husband, his job, for favor, for somehow more income to come in without him working two or three other jobs, for there somehow to be enough money for the month to cover our needs, etc. every day. But I just had this sense that I really needed to pray, concentrate more on Scripture (especially in the "freak out" moments), and trust Him completely.

So I have been. And to those of you out there reading this who pray (which is probably most of you since not very many people read this blog..LOL!), I'd appreciate greatly any prayers that you might offer up for us. I figure the more of us in agreement the better!

Phil. 4:6-7, 19
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus......And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
