Keep praying ladies! It's working!

First of all, my sweet husband called to tell me the below news but also informed me that last week he found out he won't be doing web-audio for our former church after this month. So we'll be loosing even more income. *sigh* He's fine with it. He said he hasn't been enjoying the work or felt comfortable doing it at all the last few weeks.

BUT..... what he really called to tell me was, he has a job on Friday night with Cox. :)

I briefly mentioned in August about some possible freelance work. I didn't mention then but it's with Cox and the local sports coverage they do (football right now and then basketball in a few months). And they pay VERY well! He heard about it through some students who work with them. He emailed the head guy just to get his foot in the door and get his name out there. They were already staffed for the season (which he knew in talking with these students) but this guy said he would keep Kev's name on hand.

So today a student came to ask if Kev could work for him Friday night! It won't be much, probably less than $100, but at least it's something! This student had already talked to and cleared it with the head guy who has already emailed Kev with the paperwork requirements he'll need. The cool thing is that in another email, he asked him to meet with the A1 (if that means nothing to you like it meant nothing to me...that means the lead guy who mixes the audio for the games...which means the guy who gets paid VERY well) and get familiar with the set-up. Then asked if Kev would ever consider or be interested in doing some A1 work!!!! Which I told Kev seems like a really neat thing since this guy has never met Kev, has never seen/heard work he's done, etc. he's just going off word of mouth from the students that have mentioned him! :)

Soooo....it would be fabulous if he could get an A1 or A2 (if that means nothing to you like it meant nothing to me...lol...that means the person who's directly under the A1...and which means it still pays very well!)!! If he could work just one game a week with Cox, we'd have our lost income replaced plus some.
