I'm finally feeling better and got a bunch of pictures uploaded. :) Get ready to be amazed!
First, a couple cute pictures from our school time.
The second day of school, Princess Gracie came to do her schoolwork:

Last week while I was working with Gracie, Matthew sat down at the table and played with his wipe-off books (I LOVE these by the way!). I had written his name at the top a few minutes before this to show him what his name looked like. Then he did this:

Here is the genius at work:

I know I haven't updated about the caterpillars in quite a while. So, here is the big photo update.
All of them got to be this big:

How many caterpillars do you see???

Instincts kicking in yet again (look near the top and bottom of the picture):

I was SO excited to get the next set of pictures!! We've raised butterflies before but I don't think we ever got to witness this stage in the life cycle. And I was so excited when a couple days later, the kids (and one of the neighbor girls) got to see it happen. If you've ever wondered how a caterpillar gets into a chrysalis, here's how. :)

How many butterflies can you count?? :)

Right before flying away:

So far, seven of our ten have emerged. :) Right now we are waiting on one who looks quite ready but hasn't come out yet. I desperately want to get a picture of it coming out so we have pictures of the entire life cycle. I also have some pictures of one of them right after emerging. I took those after I had uploaded these because I was sitting here posting pictures when Gracie ran in saying, "MAMA!!! Another butterfly came out!!!" :)
Amazing isn't it!?

We just loved watching our Jimmy. It was one of our best nature studies and God does seem to be sending quite a few our way. :0)
Your pics are amazing, but of course my favorites are of the kids--soo cute!
