It's finally Friday!!!!

Got a lot accomplished today. Went to the dairy and delivered milk. Had our a/c looked at (*SIGH*). Took the kids to the library, went to Barnes & Noble, stopped into Old Navy, and picked up Kev from work. I managed to cut the pages out of this Bible Study book with my exacto knife and can make copies here so that saved a trip to the office store.

About that a/c. *SIGH* We have water leaking into the house. Again. Last year it was because the coils were dirty. That's not it this time. He thinks there is a hole in the pan the coils sit on and water is spurting over the insulation box which in turn is making water leak down the wall and into the house. *SIGH* He'll be back next week to look at it more. It could be something he can patch up but it may be too big and will only leak again. If the latter is the case, it's a $500 fix (you have to buy the coils and pan together...you can't just buy the pan anymore). *SIGH* What really sucks is that water has seeped under our new living room flooring. *SIGH* We are going to have to replace about 22 sections (that's the count so far).

I'm trying not to think about it too much and just pray that it cools down very soon (hopefully after this hurricane makes land-fall and the storms come our way????).

I'm tired of crap happening. Loss of income, a $700 van repair, a/c problems, new living room floor ruined. *SIGH*

At least there are some good things happening. Kev has some contacts for some freelance work that could possibly pay really well. Things may not work out until after January but that's ok. He got a check today for the editing he's still doing for the church (which will help with grocery expense). He should be having some work with his Dad coming up soon.

Maybe I'll make that ice cream tort thing and hide it and keep it all to myself.
