Thought I would give a quick update on the job situation....

There probably won't be a decision or more concrete information until December. Apparently the exact funding amount that justifies hiring Kev won't be known until then.

In addition, there is something else in the works that might help justify hiring him. A merger of sorts.

(Sorry to be so vague....since this isn't information known by everyone involved, out of respect to the person wanting to hire Kev, I'm not saying more than that)

So we wait some more.

I asked Kev how he feels about it all. He's excited. Excited about the opportunity to actually do something and work for this person. He said that right now, he just goes to work and does his job. There isn't anything to do or produce. And since this job opportunity is right up his alley, I know he would absolutely love it!

I on the other hand am very nervous. I'm still sorting out whether that is because it's not the step he needs to take now or if it's soley based on my own fears about going through a situation like we were when he got laid off. So while I'm excited for Kev and the opportunity that he possibly has, I'm scared out of my mind.
