It's finally Fall!!!
This is the tree in our front yard and very soon it will look like this again. I can't wait!!!!!!
Today has been fairly uneventful but busy. We had quite a bit of catching up to do with school, as I mentioned yesterday. Tomorrow should be a little more normal school-wise.
I have a birthday party to put on Saturday and I'm feeling SO unprepared! I need to sit down and make a list of the things I need. Stuff like paper goods, tablecloth, decorations,...I totally forgot to do that when I got groceries Sunday. I'm going to try making a chocolate cake from scratch to avoid as many artificial stuff in that as I can. Of course there will be stuff in the icing but I figure wherever I can cut that stuff out is great. And then I'll just be prepared. LOL
Another thing that needs to be done is birthday gift shopping. I only have one idea for him. Coloring book and ColorWonder paper. I'm not sure yet when I'm going to get out to shop. Maybe Friday night with my Mom. Nothing like getting things done at the last minute.
