My Life

Another Monday is here.

Some highlights of things around here:
*My Baby is weaned. I'm trying hard to not think about it but it's still bothering me a bit. I'm so very proud of our almost 21 months of nursing!!!! And I was starting to tell that he was about done with it. Last week though (and I don't remember the exact day because that would make it even harder for me) when I offered to nurse him before bed, he was only latching on for a second or two. Now if I ask him, "Do you want milkies?", instead of getting excited and nodding his head, he just laughs at me and looks at me like I have three heads.

*He got his hair cut. I wanted to trim up some of his curls. They were so stinking adorable but he had one spot that was wirey and would get really tangled. But trying to cut a 21 month old's hair isn't easy. I had it trimmed pretty cute but since he wouldn't sit still, it wasn't even and was hard to get even. So I ended up with Kev's trimmer and the largest guard. He looks SO grown up now!!!! I'll try and post a pic later.

So my Baby is weaned and has a big boy hair cut. For the first time in 10 years I am not pregnant, nursing or caring for a baby. It's so weird. And I have Baby Fever SO bad!!!!
