About those shoes.......

I actually got excited about getting out to walk (mostly just to get out of the house). I decided to take our dog with me since she pretty much never leaves the back yard or the house. She loved the idea. So much that when I got her to the front yard, she turned her head just right in her excitement and came out of her collar. And since she loved the idea of going on a walk, she went right ahead and quickly explored the neighborhood on her own. She met a lovely male great dane (THANK GOODNESS they are both fixed) who was more interested in her treats than she was. She was mostly interested in his....well...ya know.

Anyway, I was finally able to get her in the backyard by getting her to chase me. By that time I decided that all the running I did trying to coax her into doing that was enough exercise for the evening. I'm teaching class tonight so there won't be any walking tonight. Maybe tomorrow night.

We didn't get school done on Tuesday. Tiffany and I had a prenatal visit scheduled. Right before I got there for it, they called to say they would be there a couple hours later. So we just hung out reading and chatting while all 10 of the kids played. Yeah...between the two of us we have 10 kids. After that rescheduling of my day getting school done was pretty much out of the question. So today we'll get those few things done. :)

Today I posted my blog link on the Well Trained Mind message board. I don't usually make the link public but I thought it would be fun to actually have other people read it and make new friends. Now that Matthew is napping and the girls have thirty more minutes to play before coming home to do school, I'm posting here then am going to read thru the other ladies blogs. :) So if anyone is visiting here from WTM....HI!!!!!!
