Bible Study ~ Bible Blast this week was about Abraham/Sarah/Hagar/Ishmael/Isaac, & Lot and his wife (I do wonder what her name was. ;)) We also started on the memory work. I wasn't sure exactly what the girls were supposed to memorize. They worked on two verses before I found out the answer. So starting this week they will be doing the right verses. Ha! Matthew did memorize his verse and was able to say it tonight in the "Memory Room"!!
Latin ~ Same 'ol stuff. :)
History ~ We talked about Noah's Ark. Since the kids are already really familiar with that story it was an easy week. They started a "People of the Ancient World" book. :) The first page was Adam & Eve. We also went outside and measured out the size that Noah's Ark would have been.
Poetry ~ We talked a little more about alliteration.
Science ~ With the three kiddos we talked about caves. Of course now they want to go see a cave. ;) Next time we are in Arkansas or Missouri we'll have to make a point to stop and go through one.
Their individual work went as usual. Everyone is doing good and is moving right along. :)
Having the new, extra toys helped a bit with keeping Matthew busy. He enjoyed the games quite a bit.
