Overheard while sitting in the bathroom while Matthew went potty:
Matthew: "I got poops out my butt."
Me: "You do?"
Matthew: "Yeah. Mama, lou ("you") have a biiiiig [stretching his arms out as wide as they will go] butt..like huge." [except I couldn't quite make out that last word]
Me: "Like what?"
Matthew: "Huge. [cupping his hands together] And lou have a tiny head."
Lesson to be learned: Don't count on your almost 3yo to boost your self-esteem.
