Day Twenty Two

My new out look = just get through the foods you need to eat today.

If I think about how I have three more weeks of this boring food I want to cry. :p Yes, I know there are a myriad of recipes with the allowable foods. But since I don't run a restaurant I really don't want to mess with making meals for the rest of the family plus making something separate for me. It's much easier making meals that are super easy and can be prepared quickly. I may try a few (I've found a couple for shrimp that I'd like to try) before this is all said and done. But for now, I'm sticking to easy and what I know.

I'm able to wear size eight shorts from Target!! They are a tiny smidge tight but not uncomfortable tight. A couple more inches lost in my hips and they will be perfect.

Leftovers are you best friend! Yesterday I made a big batch of tomato & ground beef chili, and sometimes I broil up 4 servings of steak so I just have to saute or broil a veggie to go with it... Spices and herbs make all the difference for me too. I have pots of fresh basil that I snip to add to meals, and I love cumin, garlic and cayenne added to meals. You can do this! <3
