Why yes, I did change my blog URL....

Since I'm more than just a doula these days, doulaheather.blogspot just didn't seem appropriate.

I also decided to freshen things up a little bit.  You'll also notice my client due date list is back.

This week has been our Fall Break.  A much needed break at that!  It has been so nice to not have anything we HAD to do.   Tuesday  morning I assisted at the birth of a sweet little boy.  He was just 5lbs 8oz (at 37 weeks gestation) and wrapped up comfortably in a hand towel!  I made it home in time to get everyone to our pumpkin patch field trip.  Here are the highlights.....

While at the pumpkin patch/orchard we picked up 1/2 a bushel of apples.  From that we made applesauce, a double batch of apple butter, and caramel apples.  The house smelled SO good yesterday!!!!
