Our first Seder table. :)

For having never done it on our own, I think it went well. We invited Kev's parents over but only his Mom was able to make it. The kids did great sitting through all of the readings while waiting for dinner. ;) Some of the stuff we had talked about yesterday during school time so they were a bit prepared. We talked about why it's observed, what some of the symbolism means, and why we were observing it.

For dinner we had:
Matzo Ball Soup (with carrots, celery, and chicken)
Strawberries and Pears
Charoset (the "mortar" mixture used in the Seder that the kids LOVED and I had quite a bit so we served that with the meal)
Coconut Macaroons

I think they all enjoyed it, especially searching for the afikomen!! And I think it's something we will continue to do each year (and next year it will be on the correct night ;)).
