Busy week!!!

We celebrated Em's birthday twice. The first was on Saturday. We went to the Purple Glaze and then to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. She wanted to do something a little different this year instead of a party. And then on Monday night we had Kev's parents over for dinner, cake and ice cream. She had a 4-layer chocolate cake!! It was HUGE!!! And if I can get this camera thing figured out maybe someday I can post pictures of it. I was so excited because I got to use my cake stand for the first time!!! Anyway, she had a nice time and received some very nice things for her birthday. :)

Hopefully my new dryer (in white...even though I REALLY wanted red) will be here next week. I'm praying that today was the last time I have to go to the laundrymat to dry clothes. As much fun as it is getting 4-5 loads of laundry dried and folded in 45 minutes, it stinks having to load all of that to and from. It's a real blessing having a family member who works for Whirlpool that can get us a really good price break on appliances. Kev and I are really excited...this is the first appliance we have ever purchased!!! Eventually we'll get the washer too but right now it's not a pressing need like the dryer is.
