Yes, that Mama was up cleaning not long after the birth. Not something we recommend!! There are not-so-fun side effects of being up too soon like that!!

So thanks to Kahri drawing me into her crochet blog and newest project, the Babette Blanket, I have started one too. It's all Kahri's fault. Completely. :p I'll have to get pictures later (I need to upload pictures of the kids on Christmas Eve anyway) of the colors I chose. The best way I can describe them is jewel tones. I am using Caron Simply Soft Eco yarn. On the website there, the colors I have (so far...I need to get one more, Sun Drop...if I can find it) are:

I am also using Vanna's Choice Yarn Brick. I bought that one to make some baby washcloths with and decided to add it into the blanket.

I'm working on one of the 12-round squares right now and I have two of the 2-round squares done. As soon as I can I'll get pictures up of what I have done.
