Next week we're going to start talking more about Colonial times and take about three weeks on it. I have some activities to do with the girls and one of them is to try working on a little wall quilt. We picked out a pattern and they are SOOOO excited!! What's funny is that they don't want to use the sewing machine. They insist we do it all by hand.
Because, as my 8yo told me, "Mom, that's SO not colonial!"
