I've been reminded that I need to finish posting about the conference. I'll see what I can remember.....

Saturday morning we sat in on a workshop about Gestational Diabetes with Happy Barnes. Very good information!! After that I went to a workshop on Managing Low Milk Supply with Connie Blokkum. Most of the information was stuff I already knew, but her handouts included great information on galactogogues. After lunch we went to a panel discussion Malpresentation. There were four midwives on the panel; two LM/CPMs and two CNMs. It was very interesting to hear their stories and how different midwives go about trying to get a baby in a good position.

That's pretty much it. We had dinner Saturday night at the Cracker Barrel and left Houston Sunday morning.


School is going well. I still need to go over History and do some planning. I wanted to do an art activity later this week to wrap-up our human body unit in Science. But I don't think I'm going to have the extra $ to buy supplies. :(

If you are reading this...please keep my husband in your prayers. He's dealing with some unnecessary stress regarding a situation at church (not unnecessary stressing on his part...but the drama a particular email conjured up is unnecessary and is completely out of line). Just pray that things are resolved easily and soon!
