We spent the afternoon at the (boring) zoo. The kids had fun and it was Matthew's first time (out of my belly..lol) to go so he thought it was pretty cool, especially the sea lions (and especially since they were the ONLY animals awake and doing something).
After we got home I was informed it was time to open my gifts. :) My Mom sent me a pretty cross for my wall collection, an angel statue for my garden (she looks so pretty standing out there), and chocolate. My husband bought me THIS.
We went to dinner tonight, just he and I. First to TGIFriday's for dinner (my first not so good meal there unfortunately) and then we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dessert. :)

First of all Happy Birthday!!!!! Hope you have a blessed year!! Second of all.....OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That is my DREAM MIXER!! I used to have the stainless steel version!! (In my first marriage) Anyway, congrats!!
