I would have everything ready to go but my printer ran out of ink. Ugh. If anyone knows of a super good deal or has a fairly new printer/copier/scanner they want to get rid of, let me know. On my desk I have a Lexmark printer/copier/scanner that I use for copying and on top of it is an HP printer that I use for my printing. The Lexmark doesn't copy/print in such a great quality anymore and the HP goes thru the ink like wildfire! So I want a new one.
We had a nice weekend. Nothing too terribly exciting happened. I had to return something to Mardel on Saturday and I picked up a few things at the sale. Then I went next door to Hobby Lobby. I am making a weighted blanket for the son of a friend of my Mom's and needed something else for it. With the money that person is paying me I picked up some fabric to make curtains for my kitchen and dining room. I got one window (out of four) done today. It looks so cute already!! Yes, I'll take a picture when I'm done.
On the CoOp topic since Kahri commented about it.....I've thought about it and thought about it and finally realized that I just can't add one more thing this semester or I'll explode. Starting next week, I am on-call until the end of April (and then again in June). In addition to five births you have to figure in prenatals for four ladies (the birth in April is my own doula client..not a homebirth..I do my doula prenatals in the evenings) once a week. Tiffany schedules prenatals one day a week so that means I am at her house all day (plus, the ladies are coming up on having their homevisits so we'll be in the van some for a while too the next couple of weeks). Then you have to figure in postpartum visits for those four ladies as well. So needless to say, it's going to get very busy. When we do go to her house for prenatals the girls take schoolwork, things they can do without my one-on-one help while I'm in appointments. So that means we loose a day of school at home with one-on-one help. Since we have so many visits coming up (not to mention not knowing when or how long I'll be gone to births), I don't want to miss that day AND Friday's each week. I realize CoOp is school but our school work here at home takes first priority.
Since it is now officially Monday, I am off to bed!
