My Life

Well, I made it through today.

This morning I brought the girls in here and we went through the craft closet. I am trying to plan our days better and would like to have 30 minutes to one hour each day for working on craft projects. I also thought they would like to work on some Christmas gifts for friends. There is a lot of stuff in that closet. LOL I had forgotten about some of it. The girls had a blast though seeing all the things and hearing me tell them about everything. Abby wants to cross-stitch, Em wants to make yo-yo crafts. Gracie wants to make soap. I also found my big rubbermaid box of plastic canvas supplies. They were pretty into that too. I knew that was in there however had forgotten how much I had. Apparently there was a sale once.

Tomorrow I am giving my older girls a writing assignment. I am very very ashamed to admit that up until now, we haven't done much writing at all. I have Writing Strands and another really neat writing idea book that we don't touch. We've tried the Writing Strands but I think it's boring. I know they need to do more but it's one of those things we seem to never have time for. So tomorrow they will be starting a little paper on what they know about the Pilgrims. I'll have to help Abby but Em should do really good on her own. Then we'll go from there and hopefully will get more into the habit of writing!!
