Something is living in our attic. I just know it. This has happened several times before and as I got ready to post here it's happening again.

It sounds like something (hopefully not someONE) is digging around up in the attic. Like it's trying to get out. I really wish we had a flashlight strong enough (yeah, I know...we should have one since we live in Tornado Alley) so Kev could get up in there to look. It's driving me crazy!

Anyway....I'm sure you were interested in hearing about that.

So we're experimenting on Abby (that's what Gracie says..lol). Lately I've noticed that quite a bit of the time I am saying, "Abby...settle down." or "Abby...self control." She'll get out of control, loud, irritated, and very rambunctious (did I spell that right???). Perhaps it's just a phase but something tells me there might be more to it. So I asked a friend of mine, who knows more about this than I do from researching for her kids, about food allergies. When I told her what I just wrote about the behaviors she agreed that it could be a food allergy/sensitivity. In talking to her a bit more I learned that wheat and gluten can be big culprits of these types of behaviors. So I'm working on cutting back and hopefully eliminating those things from her diet. I figure if it doesn't work and if all this is just a phase, it's at least making me/us more aware of what we're eating and possibly eating healthier. :)

In our old house, I was convinced we had squirrels in the attic. I would hear something up there and it was driving me nuts. We finally discovered it was a bunch of birds. They had flown in through a broken air vent. I just felt better knowing what it was.
