And another week begins.
Surprisingly I'm feeling much more at peace than I was last week. I still am not quite sure how everything is going to come together. But it will. It's not my job to figure it out.
The girls and I had fun today with History. They've been taking notes about some of the explorers over the last week. We still have four more to get books on, learn about and make notes of. But today they started a lapbook with the ones they do have so far. :) I showed them one I had made a few years ago for ancient Egypt then turned them loose to make their own. They are doing great!!! I have to sit with Abby and help her with copywork. She has a hard time following text when there is a lot of it and she's trying to keep her place. We're also working on correct capitalization and punctuation. ;) But she did great! Em's is really nice too!
I've eaten HORRIBLY today. Oh man. At the store this morning I was craving Spaghettios with Meatballs. So I gave in and that was my lunch. Tonight was nuts and I was starving so I went by McDonalds and got a cheeseburger and fries. Then after I picked up Kev he wanted to stop at Braums. So I got a chocolate malt. LOL! Tomorrow I must drink my water, eat better and exercise!!!!!
Class tonight was good. Only two couples there. The cool ones. ;) So it was more relaxed. Which was good because my day was crazy busy and my brain wasn't all there. One more week with them. :( Thankfully I'm doula for those two so I'll still get to see them. :) Yay!
Tomorrow I have an appointment to discuss alternative treatment for my thyroid. Thru a nursing Mom's group I met a lady who is a certified herbalist and nutritionalist. She did a saliva test and the results are back. Again (like last year when this all started), it appears my levels are mostly normal. So we're going to meet face-to-face and talk about her protocols that will help fix stuff. :) I'm so excited and anxious to get started!
Still no baby yet. :) Maybe tonight. ;)
