Wow...two posts already this week!

And it's been a busy week already!

Last night and tonight I started a new childbirth class series. Last night was the group class and I have four couples coming to that one. It's a nice mix coming to that...one is a VBAC, one is a first baby - hospital birth, one is a second baby - homebirth, and the other is a young single Mama having her first baby - hospital birth. Tonight was my private class with a wonderful couple planning a homebirth.

I see the chiro tomorrow and I'm SOOOOOOOO ready!! I need it! I go every other week and I can tell, after a week and a half my body is ready for an adjustment.

I readjusted the girls' assignment pages. I took out "Reading" and replaced it with "Latin". They are both way past needing a reading assignment..lol. I don't really know why I've left it on there. Anyway...it's gone now. We started Latin yesterday and I think they liked it. Enough that Em got it out to show Daddy. ;) So we'll do that Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Our TruthQuest History guide came today!! :) Looks great! It's basically just that..a guide thru all the different topics. Very comprehensive in the topics it covers I think. For most of the topics there is a little description about it, not really a lesson to read. Then they list a bunch of living books to read on that subject. I'm still trying to decide on a spine. I bought The History of the United States and Its People but I don't like it. :( I looked at a really neat schedule someone put together and used that but I just don't like the book. So I'm trying to sell it. The TQ book uses a couple others several times throughout their guide so I'm going to get at least one of those. They are The Story of the Thirteen Colonies and This Country of Ours. I'd like to get both but unless I find a super good deal on them or do end up finding someone to buy the other book, I only need to pick one. I need to do a bit of planning with the TQ book..nothing fancy, just jot down some ideas of activities to do. Like the first bit is about explorers. So I was thinking about maybe having the girls put together a little book about what they learn about each one. Just stuff like that.

Guess that's about it for today. Nothing big planned the rest of the week thankfully! :)
