Another Monday

So far our week is starting out well.

I got to sleep in this morning. Which was nice considering I was up at 6:30 Saturday morning.

We got groceries today and picked up some items for our animal or plant cell edible experiment. :) We'll probably do that on Wednesday. Tomorrow is going to be busy.

On the will-Heather-ever-buy-history-curriculum front.....

I joined the TruthQuest yahoogroups today. One of them is a Sale board so I'm going to ask there for the AHYS book before buying it. I think I've narrowed down what supplemental books I want to buy. Someone posted her blog link yesterday with schedules:

I really like how it's laid out except for how she jumps around in the AHYS book. But it was really helpful seeing what books she uses to supplement. I think we might go with:
History Pockets - the girls thought those looked like fun!!
Colonial Kids - they have this at the TCCL so I don't need to buy it
Hands-On Heritage - I don't remember seeing it but I'm going to check Mardel for that one.

Then for a spine, I *think* I might use A History of the United States and It's People
