Here I am again...

Things are good. It's been a good week so far.

Spent most of the afternoon with T. I got another NARM skill marked off my midwifery unit. Had a good prenatal visit. Not much longer for this couple!!! :) I'm soooo ready to go to a birth!!! Nervous...but ready!

A miracle happened here today. God prevented a house fire despite my stupidity. Before we left I was cutting up some veggies and hard boiling some eggs. Well...guess who forgot she was boiling eggs and left the house...for FIVE HOURS!! Yep. We walked in the house and it smelled like something was cooking. One of the girls even said, "MMmmmmm, smells good in here!" First I thought maybe someone had broken in and made cookies or something. Then as I turned the corner into the kitchen, I saw the blue flame on the stove from the burner (gas stove)!!!! Some of the eggs had exploded and it was smoking just a tiny bit. But there was no sign whatsoever of fire. It really is a miracle that it didn't catch on fire!!
