It's Midnight...how many of your kids are puking??

(Well....it was Midnight when it started)


K and I had just gone to bed. I heard someone coughing funny. First I thought it was Gracie because sometimes she coughs on her saliva when she's sleeping. But something just didn't sound right. So K and I both jumped up to see what was going on.


Abby was sitting up in bed....the top bunk. She had vomited on the floor. And her bed some. And the side of the bunk bed. And Gracie's comforter. And the toys that were on the floor. Oh...I should mention before I go any further that we had leftover Baked Ziti for dinner. Yeah. Not good coming the opposite way.


So we proceeded to get that mess cleaned up. Got her situated on the couch (where she wanted to sleep). K leaned down to kiss her goodnight. Vomited again. This time I had to put her in the tub. In the meantime, Gracie has come in to use the restroom.


While we were in there I thougth I heard M. crying. K. opened the door and said, "Don't drain that water." I asked him if M was sick..."Yes, everywhere." :( Got Abby out and went to help K with M. Poor baby...it was all over his head and face. :( I almost cried. He was screaming and shaking...I'm sure he was scared. Anyway...got him cleaned up, diapered, dressed, and was just starting to snuggle him when...SPLAT. The sound of someone vomiting on the bathroom floor.


"Oh yeah," K says, "she was complaining of her tummy hurting."

Got that mess and G. cleaned up. Got her situated on the couch (where she wanted to be). Gave everyone "pukey bowls".

While cleaning up a few things I see someone heading to the bathroom. K. informed me that Abby was vomiting again in the bathroom. Once again cleaned the bathroom floor. Got Abby situated again on the couch. Put M.'s bed back together and K. put him to bed.

A. has vomited two more times since then. M. and G. are sleeping.

Em says her tummy "feels funny"...but no vomiting so far.

Fun times. Fun...yet stinky...times.
